There are instances that being the one responsible for the words has its perks. You’ve known she and her for a whole year now, some of you a bit longer. But she’s been a part of my life for nearly 32 years.
For those of you that know Libertee, you’re probably most familiar with her epically annoying punctuality, her ability to look like she just put on red lipstick and a knack for alwayslooking flawlessly put together. More than any of these characteristics, Libertee is the person that makes you feel beautiful.
This isn’t because she makes people feel like someone they’re not. This is because she has an uncanny ability to show someone who they are.
When we set out on this blog adventure, our goal was never to instill an intangible but none the less perceived sense of “our life is so much more together than your life.” If we’ve done what we set out to do, you should, by this point, assume that we too, are merely doing our best to keep all of the plates spinning.
Our goal was never to show you who you should be; our goal was to remove the veil of unachievable from fashion, minimize the mountain that is liquid eyeliner and encourage you to simply give a red lip a try.
We know from personal experiences that the very smallest changes can make the biggest differences. Especially when you add them all up.
This is our friend…
Sabina is a production assistant that works on set with Libertee on the regular who has become one of Libertee's favorite people . Sabina is also a self-described, comfort dresser. After an in-depth and well intentioned conversation, Libertee asked Sabina if she thought that there was a chance fashion and comfort weren’t necessarily exclusive of each other … to which Sabina responded: “I’m listening. . .”
For the past 52 posts, we have been sharing small changes, tiny things, really that have the capacity to inspire big things. Today, we add those tiny things together to reveal one big thing! We’d never be so assumptive to say she’s new and improved; she’s not – she’s still, Sabina. She’s just Sabina with a bit of “she and her.”
