Ladies - may we say how positively lovely it is to be on this side of your screen, again. We couldn’t wait another moment to share this week’s post with you. We’ve been tirelessly walking the aisles of Sephora, comparing notes and bursting at the seams to share our new favourite products with you!
We won’t go so far as to say these products work “miracles,” however, we will venture so far as to suggest that they are about as sure to satisfy as the latest Ryan Gosling flick. How have you not watched La La Land yet?! He sings, he dances, he dazzles, ladies! Pischie-Cacca!
This week’s featured products have recently made a permanent home on our respective needs lists; we’re not kidding when we say this under-eye concealer is up there with water on a list of things we can’t live without. Seriously.
Our picks -
Bobbi Brown Corrector:
This product is described as “full coverage” and legitimately commits to doing just that under our eyes. This flawless formula wears all day through sweat and humidity and along with its powerful cosmetic qualities, is made of all sorts of good stuff that contribute to the health of the delicate skin under our eyes. Bonus! Additionally, this product is available in about one zillion shades; test things out at Sephora before you settle on a shade as going too light or too dark on an under-eye concealer can backfire real quick.
Why we love it, especially: the light formula covers surprisingly well and doesn’t crease as the day wears on. Additionally the corrector layers super well under other products without looking cakey.

Gimme Brow Volumizing Fibre Gel:
We trust that there’s science behind this stuff, but this shit is straight up, magic. We’ve gotten in the habit of filling in our brows with a shadow like we normally do, and then layering this gel on top to volumize the appearance of our brows. The gel is made of microfibres that adhere to our hair and skin and legitimately makes our brows appear fuller, thicker and way more present.
Why we love it, especially: the gel formula doesn’t just add colour to our brows, it adds texture; translation: they don’t look painted on.

We might be sisters and have a whole tonne of things in common, but the truth of the matter is, we don’t always agree on products because we have different cosmetic demands; she has dry skin, her face is oily; you get the point. In light of this reality, we share the following products as our respective favourites. . . see where you fit!
Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream:
She loves this cream in particular because of it’slight weight, time release formula that ensures she has moisturized skin all day, no matter the elements she's faced with. The cream is also formulated to support skin’s elasticity and balance its texture. Best of all, the gel-like cream is light enough to act as a base layer for your cosmetic regime.
Bumble and bumble colour stick:
It’s not that she has grey hair, it’s that sometimes tiny clusters of grey hairs show up on her head. . . This washable, yet waterproof stick is a magical solution. Find a grey, a cluster, or a line of roots, colour over them, forget about it.
Too Faced, Better than Sex Mascara:
She has ridiculously long lashes, but they’re not that thick and claims that this particular mascara is now officially on her can’t-live-without-list. The extra stiff bristles of the applicator allow you to layer for increasingly dramatic effect without making lashes appear clumpy.
Her must haves:
Bascia Thermal Black Cleanser:
With skin that tends to walk the line between combination and oily, this has quickly become her new favourite cleanser. The formula has a gentle heating quality that serves to open pores up to remove dirt, cosmetics and oil, eventually serving to minimize their appearance. It’s not joking when it claims to remove make-up; it really, really does.
Sephora Collection Lashcraft Length and Volume:
Her lashes aren’t particularly long, but they’re thick. This mascara is perfect for lengthening her lashes while building on their thickness. Also, it’s $12 price-point is on-point! Lastly, it has an easy wash-off formula meaning you can exit the shower without looking like a Tim Burton Character.
No one is saying you should buy all of these at once. . .
